Dear pear,
To be honest, i had a lot of fun. The first day, we spent all day building a hydrophone. A hydrophone, is a microphone that can be placed under water in order to listen to sounds under water. The reason we did that was because we are studying sounds of citations. Citations are pretty much whales. So now that i dumed it down ill tell you about the fun part.
The second day we went to the berch aquarium in order to test out the new built hydrophones. they did not work. It was still very fun though. I wish we could have gone again. After that, we just spent the next day and the following one putting together a presentation for the ciber bridge group. The first two days where very fun. The next were not so much. I got frustrated using the macs. it was still fun though.

Fish had not much to say however they did seem to tell us a few clicks.
I also got the large stress of using a mac. Such wondrous amount of stress helped me desire a mac actually because i played, oh i played with it. we rummaged through garage band, and poked around completely on iMovie, and after all the banging on the head we managed to actually learn and own the system. it was a fun week, where we discovered new wonders and lost old fears, and found some good experiences.

We used english in writing the powerpoints, and reading the information. We used science to obtain the information, as well as math to know how long every slide, picture and videos. Also used social science for knowing why this is so important to us, and finally technology to send this information to educate others in what we have learned.

Day 4 Reflection
All responses should be at least 2-3 sentences in length.
1. Describe your experience in producing your Podcast with your group members. What did you like and dislike?
My experience producing the Podcast was fun but stressing. It was fun to get to know other ways other ways to make an interesting presentation rather than just relying on Powerpoint. However, even though we had a little bit of time to make up the presentation it was fun recording our voices into the presentation.
2. Who was the leader of your group? Why?
Our group did not have a leader because we all worked together. However, not all of us were working on a single task, but we would talk to each other about what we needed and each production was as important as the other to make up a good presentation with the different programs combined.
3. Did you vote your leader or did it just happen? Explain.
We didn't vote for any leader because it wasn't going to be fair to make a person feel like they had the responsibility of controlling everything. Instead, we all chose to divide the parts but still find a way to work together.
4. What was your role in producing the Podcast? How did you receive that role?
A is mentioned, we all worked together, but as half of the group was working on Garageband, the rest of use were working on putting the iMovie together. I didn't just receive that role but as we were going along we found out who was better at what.
5. What obstacles did you encounter while working with the other students?
It was hard to split the time in working on two different programs and then have a little amount of time to put it all together. Also, it was hard to keep the groups up to date on what we were doing and what had to be done because we would have to take time off from our roles, but it still worked just fine.
6. How did you overcome the obstacle(s)?
At the end we just decided to work together on both programs so we knew exactly what had to be done. It was much easier to work together to put the presentation together.
7. If your peers ask you what you did this week, what would you tell them? (2 paragraph minimum)
This week I learned more about cyber bridge and the purpose of it. I learned why we are being introduced to this subject and why it is important to protect the undersea habitat. In order to learn more about the cetaceans habitat we build hydrophones. Hydrophones are devices that record underwater sounds in order for us to learn more about their environment and communication. It was cool to know how

Day 4 Reflection
All responses should be at least 2-3 sentences in length.
1. Describe your experience in producing your Podcast with your group members. What did you like and dislike?
Producing our Podcast was more difficult than I thought. It was fun, though, learning how to work with the software including PowerPoint, iMovie, and GarageBand. What I didn't like was that we didn't have as much time as we needed to make our movie even better.
2. Who was the leader of your group? Why?
In our group there was no team leader that I can think of. We all worked together to make different parts of the movie and took turns using the main computer.
3. Did you vote your leader or did it just happen? Explain.
We didn't really think about having a leader. We all worked on different parts and didn't let one person take over the job. We all put good effort in this project.
4. What was your role in producing the Podcast? How did you receive that role?
In the beginning I was working on the computer much. Later, though, when we opened GarageBand, we began recording our voiceovers and I was the one editing the sound for it to come out good. I think I had a better idea than others about how to use the program, so that's why the group probably gave me the chance to do that.
5. What obstacles did you encounter while working with the other students?
We had many obstacles come our way during this 4-day period. When we were building the hydrophones, there were many complications. Some of the wires disconnected at the last minute after they had been soldered. Also, while doing the movie, we ran out of time and we didn't do as good of a job as we could have done if we hadn't been rushed.
6. How did you overcome the obstacle(s)?
When the wires disconnected in the building of the hydrophones, we had to strip the wires again. When we were creating the movie, we were aware that we had a little bit of time left to work on it, so we just did the best we could and took advantage of the limited time that was given to us.
7. If your peers ask you what you did this week, what would you tell them? (2 paragraph minimum)
The first day, we learned how to build hydrophones. We worked with our groups to strip the wires and solder the connections to prevent them from disconnecting. We later added mineral oil to a canister. On Tuesday, we attended the Birch Aquarium and learned about ocean creatures and got to test our hydrophones that we had previously built. The next day, we were given a short lecture about how to use the Mac software and how to apply our information and recordings to create a movie. The last day, we finished working on our movie and presented it to the class.
