The English skills that i have used in my science classes have been writing, note taking, reading and test taking skills. I used the writing skills by knowing how to write an essay or a passage correctly and without making any mistakes. I used the note taking skills by taking better notes and summarizing not just copying everything that the teacher puts on the board or gives to us. I used the reading skills by knowing what to read and how to read not just to read something without understanding or knowing what it means or says. I used the test taking skills by actually knowing how to do a test, for example i need to read the questions first and then reading the passage or essays and also by eliminating the answers that are wrong so i have a better chance of having the correct answer. I think that English and science don't really go together but if you know English really good it may help you with science that involves writing tasks, tests, taking notes and reading mostly reading because most of the time when anyone is reading something that has to do with science the only person that understands it is the teacher or the person that wrote it and because of English you maybe able to understand the structure of whats written and maybe understand the whole thing.

We are learning science in a english class because its a good way to be working in both subjects at the same time. Its going to make us experts in science and english so thats pretty cool. I think english and science are kind of similar by the way they have in commen note taking, writting essays, vocabulary and there might be other more. Also learning science in a english class, its going to make the class even more exciting. Its a good way to be understanding science and english in one class, I think thats pretty cool. Iam ready to begin this project, it sounds really fun and we are going to be learning new things about science and even english. It sounds difficult what we are going to be doing but working together and helping each other is going to become more easier. Thats what we supposed to do help each other so we could all do good on this project. First I didnt wanted to take this class but now that i see what we are going to be doing i really injoy it so that makes me happy.

In my science classes I use a lot of english. The way i write talk and read, it all has to do with english. When i write, i write in english and the way that i write narrows down to what I learned in my english classes. Even the way i take notes it all comes from my english classes. Another way I use english in my science classes is the way I read it, everything I read is in english. Science can have many difficult words but having english makes it easier to understand them or figure them out. In my science class we also speak in english, that associates with our english class as well. In all my classes we use english. For me, these two subjects can go together in a good way even though they are different in the sense of what you learn. For instance, if you are doing some kind of report for an important cause you probably want to know how to write very good english, you also want to know how to argue in a persuasive and correct way. Putting these two subjects together can come out with a very good result and you can do so many things.!

There are many English skills you can apply in science. Some English skills you can apply in Science are reading, extracting information, clearly stating important information, forming opinions, articulating ideas, and organizing information. Or science skills in English. Science will help you to learn how to organize your thoughts and ideas and it will teach you how to apply logic to how you write. English applies to every subject and to the every day use. As well as science. Without English you wouldn't be able to understand science. Or you wouldn't be able to communicate with others. You also use your English skills to take notes or write essays. Scientists use English skills to state their observations and theories. Also, without science, you wouldn't understand why or how things work. We use English in science, and some science in English. Which in this case, our project, connecting English and science; and even U.S. Government and Computer.

In English class they teach you many different kinds of skills that you can apply to every day life and this can include science. I know for a fact that if I hadn’t read the books I have read about science related things, I wouldn’t be able to comprehend them because English can give you very detailed information of actual things that are happening and this can include science related information. I find it hard to comprehend how things work if I do not read about them and that’s where English comes in. One example of this can include a text book explaining to us what molecules are and what they are made of. If we dint have the skills to put together what we have learned throughout the years, we wouldn’t be able to understand what the text is explaining to us. Another example of how I have used English in my science class would be thru the experiments and the data I have gathered and added to my lab reports. Because after you gather all the data from an experiment, you have to write actual reports that include sentences well structured that show what you have learned throughout the experiment. Also the vocabulary we learn in English class and all of the root words can also apply to science vocabulary and our comprehensions towards it. The things I skills I have learned in English class have made me a more successful student in my science class. I believe the two subjects go very well together because if you really think about it, science does include a lot of English related things.
