Week 8- Oct 24
Please respond in 3-4 sentences about what you got out of class today... whether it is about the advertising techniques of the energy drinks (amp, redbull, rockstar, monster), how energy drinks effected you if you tested them, or how the survey you created will be helpful to our studies.
It was incredible to see all the different techniques they used in the ads to get peoples attention. For example on the amp internet ad's they have intriguing music, with a capturing type of green, and extreme sports with young people and no old people. Also in the monster internet page it was very similar and had a lot of interesting effects, along with the same type of green on the page. Rockstar had sexy gals to get guys attention, with extreme sports, and very similar to the previous two pages. The one i liked was red bull because it was simple plus it was the first one that came out. It had culture and was different to all other energy drink pages.
I might not have tried the energy drinks but i sure did see the effects. Together with other students I helped create a survey which I think will be quite helpful in helping us collect data that is up to date and accurate. I'm looking forward to seeing what people answer and how that helps us.
WELL IN CLASS ON FRIDAY I WAS ONE OF THE PERSONS WHO TASTED ONE OF THE ENERGY DRINKS. I GOT TO TASTE ROCKSTAR, AND I CAN SAY IT WAS GOOD. HOWEVER LATER I FELT NOT THAT ENERGIZED AS WHEN I DRINKED IT FIRST.
I was absent in period 5, but I got to experience what went on this week regardless because I saw it in period 2. It was pretty cool to see the different energy drink's websites. I thought the Red Bull's site was funny because it was so plain and boring, wheras in the other ones they were exciting and had cool graphics.
um ok yes the info on the energy drinks was very notifying and i found out that doin exersise and drinking an energy drink was bad.. cuz i did it once and i had a headache later.um yes this information will work çin our later tests n experiments
and also itll be cool to later at the end of the senior days we could look
back and se what weev done
The expeiriment was so funny. I saw classmates that drank the energy drinks crash, i saw some hyper, and they were louder. It was an effective way to see what energy drinks do to people who drink them. The survey was a good way to involve more of the school in this project.
this week was cool beacause i saw how some of my class mates were getting crazy and they were acting differently as other days they talked and talked when they never did before. The survey is going to inform us about people who drink energy drinks
Unfortunately I was absent but, my fellow classmates told me you guys drank energy drinks and ran like two laps around the building and that people were super hyper. They told me it was real cool.
