Week 6- Oct 10

This week we had the laptops for the second time. We used our data from our music and heart rate sheet to complete an excel spread sheet. Then we used our spreadsheet to create a column chart to visual express our data. In 3-4 complete sentences please answer the following questions:

1. What did you think of the exercise?

2. Where you surprised by any of the results that you saw?

3. How did your results compare to your partners (or someone next to you)?

1. I think that the exercise we did was great because we got to put in our data in excel.

2. When I looked at my results I was really surprised mostly because my heart rate inc. and dec. when I listened to different types of music.

3. When I compared my results with my partner there were mainly differences, rather than similarities.

I think that the exercise with the laptops was very interesting. The results I recieved were not completely what I expected but I guess they were accurate. My results were very different from the people around wich goes to show that everyone has their own likes and dislikes.

I really enjoyed donig a cart of our heart rates. I wasn't surprise by my results. I usually calm no matter what music I hear. My partners heart rates where completely diffrent from mine. His heart rates were doubled from mine, I guess people have different tastes in music.

I thought I replied to this one already, but I guess I didn't. Well what I said before was that it was the first week where the cyberbridge leaders did therre own thing aside from the rest of the class. I remember recording the weeks in which people repiled into their grades.

I thought this excersise helped me on understanding more about microsloft excel. I found the averages of my heart rates for music although my heart rate did not change as much as I thought it would.

2. Where you surprised by any of the results that you saw?

I was not surprised by any results that I had. My data did not change almost at all.

3. How did your results compare to your partners (or someone next to you)?

we had different heart rates but our results individually were mostly consistant.

I enjoyed using the computer to put in my results in excel. I wasn't surprised at my results, I knew when my heart rate was going to be high and when it was going to be low. When i compared my results with my partner I was surprised because his results were the opposite of mine.

i think what we did on the laptops was great because we actually saw our results with different kinds

well I really didnt have a good idea of the excell spread sheet because I was responding to all my other weeks and as far as the experiment with the music, it was cool learning how different kinds of music can affect your heart rate. most of my peers had different affects to the music because of different preferences.
