Due to unforseen events we went back to the computer lab. This time we focused our efforts in searching different topics of interest in respect to the heart. In a few sentences discuss the topic you researched, what you found, where you found it, and a few interesting points that you discovered. (hit the reply button and type there)

The following slide show is part of what i found as my research

I thought the slide show was very interesting. It let me understand the function of the heart. I learned a lot from it.

M research had to do with the difference between male and female heart diseases. I learned that in

women about 95% of deaths are caused by heart disease, not breast cancer. I found this information

in the internet.

My research had to do with cigarettes. What I found about cigartrettes is that cigarette smoking is 30% of heart diseases. And i found it in the internet.

I have learned from elibrary that the heart needs a certain number of excercise a day. At average, my peers do not follow the recommended amount of exercise a day and this may led to heart problems and complications

i found out that the average heart beat in a healthy human is 60 beats/min. Also by goings a long period of time could lead to health and heart damage.

I researched how energy drinks affect our organism.

Some of the information I found was quite shocking...

There are some energy drinks which contain certain chemicals that if taken with

diet pills cause immediate fatal consequences. Moreover, drinking these types

of liquids can lead to heart diseases.

What is most surprising (and sad), is that most people don´t know that.

I learn about Heart diets and how it helps or affects the heart. What capture my attention in this article was how eating 3 eggs a day does not raisess heart cholesterol as how many people thought. Also proteins are good to prevent blood presure.

i learned that women are more likely to suffer from heart related problems then men. i found this on an article on elibrary, but the reasons and details were unclear and vague, mostly cause its more an observation anything else. who nows, maybe its cause most women seem more emotional then men, maybe its an after affect due to "broken hearts" in relationships? (its a joke, you can laugh now) >_<
