If you had not noticed already, we informally released Postercasts. The formal Postercast release to the scientific community will be August 26th. In the meantime, check out some of the poster presentations available in the Experimental Biology Conference 2008 Poster Session Videos community or better yet, try out making one of your own!

A SciVee Postercast is created when you combine: a video with your scientific poster .

After you upload your video and poster, you can select areas of your poster to appear as your video plays to create a compelling record of your poster presentation to share with your colleagues.

Whether you record your video at your conference poster session, use a web camera to record your poster presentation, or record just your voice with a computer microphone, combining your video or audio with your poster will allow viewers to really get a closer look at your data.

Using SciVee's synchronization tool, you can select parts of your poster to pop up on the screen at specific points as your video/audio plays. A postercast is an excellent way to document your presentation and quickly share with many other people the main points of your research.

We've found that SciVee postercasts that are 10 minutes or less covering the major highlights of the poster are pretty effective yet still help make your research understandable. We think SciVee postercasts will really help spread the word about your research so give it a try - it's easy and can be a lot of fun!

If you want to learn more about creating a postercast, check out the tutorial or the postercast help section. Please feel free to contact us with any questions about uploading, synchronizing or publishing your Postercast. We are very happy to help you out! Thank you, The SciVee Team
